Evan Louie is a partner and founding member of HLN Holdings. He was appointed by Governor Sandoval and state legislature of Nevada as Commissioner of Minority Affairs, chairing the Economic Development Subcommittee under the Department of Business and Industry. Prior to founding HLN, Evan built a business recognized by the Las Vegas Visitor and Convention Authority as one of three enterprises representing Las Vegas for global tourism. He has received numerous awards including commendation awards from Senators and Congressmembers and was recognized by Vegas Inc. / Las Vegas Sun as an “Unsung Hero of Las Vegas Valley” and by Channel 3 News as an “Everyday Hero and Those Who Make a Difference in Southern Nevada.” Evan has been a keynote speaker at national business conferences and associations on topics from social entrepreneurship to state policymaking. He is a prolific public speaker and media magnet, with multiple appearances on local and national television, print, and radio. His passion is helping others achieve successful ventures and giving back to our communities.
